Leadership Matters
In 1982 Donald Reilly (since retired) and I from Westinghouse, East Pittsburgh founded EME for the express purpose of offering the power generation industry an independent source of engineering expertise and solutions.
Since then, we have been a technical resource for a large variety of customers; service providers, equipment owners and Original Equipment Manufacturers in fossil plants, nuclear plants, hydro, wind and general industry. Throughout that time, we have expanded and continually built the organization with new talent, customer focused capabilities and facilities. After 30+ years and over 3000 projects, we thought there could be value in sharing some of the interesting projects we have done and what we’ve learned through our experiences.
This is our inaugural quarterly Newsletter and we hope that you find it both interesting and fun. We are blending information we think you will find useful along with content about our folks and a little puzzle (What’s the Matter) which will let you test your engineering skills on an actual issue we encountered and solved. We hope that you enjoy this issue and those to come and invite you to provide feedback to info@emeassociates.com on the items you like or suggestions for topics you’d like to see.
