Hydro Engineering
Since 1982, EME has focused on providing analytical engineering solutions to Hydro power. We have performed numerous mechanical and electrical uprate analysis as well as fatigue and fracture mechanics studies. We utilize ANSYS for all finite element analysis and have deployed 3-dimensional laser scanning to collect detailed dimensional data on large generators experiencing core vibration issues.
In addition to our extensive analytical engineering capabilities, EME can also perform vibration diagnostic testing and commissioning and heat run testing to verify post uprate specification compliance.
